Students today are growing up in a world where technology is a part of everything we do and many of the jobs our students will take on have yet to be created. Saint Scholastica School gives students the tools and opportunities to be prepared for whatever challenges come their way.

Saint Scholastica students have access to a full computer lab. Students use Google Classroom and Google Docs to create reports, videos, databases and presentations. Saint Scholastica is a 1 : I Chromebook school. Additionally, we have 25 tablets, 130 iPad minis, and 54 iPads which are shared. Each classroom has an interactive whiteboard as well.

Weekly Classes for K-8

All students attend weekly computer labs. With input from classroom teachers, our technology is integated into academic subject areas. The classes focus on using online tools for learning, expressing ideas, and completing integated curriculum projects.

Current Technology & Lab

Our computer system features online apps which enable students to access files from their home computer. Students can begin a project at school then open the file at home and continue working. The computer lab is an extension of the classroom with stations for each student.

Classroom Technology

Beyond the lab, students use Chromebooks and Google Classroom to organize and submit their work. Additionally, students use devices to review, enrich, and extend learning with apps and online programs.
