Staff Profile

Cassie Capenigro, also known as Ms. Cap, is a first-year teacher with a passion for early childhood education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Illinois State University. Through her academic preparation and early classroom experience, Ms. Cap has developed a strong foundation in creating engaging, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environments that support the growth of the whole child. She is dedicated to fostering a classroom where students feel safe, confident, and excited to learn each day. Ms. Cap is grateful to be part of the St. Scholastica School community and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her students and their families. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and practicing Pilates.
