Staff Profile

Mr. Tyler Morse

2nd Grade Homeroom
Mr. Morse is thrilled to be teaching 2nd Grade at St. Scholastica Catholic School, a grade level he especially enjoys and has taught for three years. Before joining the Crusader community, he gained valuable experience substitute teaching throughout the Diocese of Joliet, working with students across multiple grade levels and strengthening his ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. He earned his degree in Elementary Education from Greenville University, graduating magna cum laude, a distinction that reflects his dedication and academic excellence. In the classroom, Mr. Morse strives to create an engaging, supportive environment where elementary students are challenged to think critically, express their creativity, and grow in confidence. Mr. Morse is passionate about teaching and sees his work in the classroom as a way to grow not only as an educator but also in his faith. Outside of school, Mr. Morse enjoys reading—particularly fantasy and history—cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and encouraging students through activities like chess, which he previously led as a club coach. He also treasures spending time with his three nieces and his 12-year-old dog, Wrigley. With his strong academic background, genuine care for students, and enthusiasm for both teaching and faith, Mr. Morse is excited to guide his 2nd grade Crusaders through a year of meaningful growth, learning, and discovery.
